BCF 2012 Nonprofit Survey Results are here!

In February, the Bainbridge Community Foundation conducted its first Nonprofit Survey. Through an online survey and four sector-specific focus groups, we were able to gain a sense of the health of the nonprofit sector, some of the unique challenges facing nonprofits today, and gain a sense of the exciting things to come.

We’ve paired our results with the 2012 State of the Sector survey sponsored by Nonprofit Finance Fund and supported by the Bank of America Charitable Foundation. Click here for a copy of the Survey Summary.

2011 Community Grants Cycle

Bainbridge Community Foundation Awards a Record $233,000 in Local Grants

The Bainbridge Community Foundation awarded the highest dollar amount in the Foundation’s history for its 2011 annual Community Grants Cycle with $233,000 in grant awards. BCF more than doubled the amount from 2010 due to special grantmaking partnerships, including the $100,000 Ampersand Human Services Grant Program, the $10,000 Karen Davis Award, and nearly $88,000 in matching grants from BCF’s donors and advised funds.   Click here to read more.
