The Foundation can be a resource for you and a philanthropic partner for your clients. It is an organization through which individuals, families, companies, and charitable organizations can make gifts to benefit the community. The Foundation is both permanent and flexible, thus assuring donors that the spirit of their gifts will endure.

The Bainbridge Community Foundation administers several types of funds that allow your clients to focus on charitable giving and achieve maximum tax deductions with none of the administrative burden of setting up a private foundation:

Area-of-interest fund
Scholarship fund
Memorial fund
Designated fund

BCF can work with you and your clients on the most appropriate fund type for them.  BCF recognizes that there are different levels of donor involvement and flexibility in the types of organizations that a donor will support. Contributions to all fund types can be made through outright donations, planned gifts or through a bequest in a will.  If your client plans to give back to the community, the Bainbridge Community Foundation provides simplicity and flexibility in charitable giving – without the IRS paperwork, time, and expense of running their own private foundation.

The Bainbridge Community Foundation is available for presentations on giving at any time.  We can work with local businesses, community groups or individual clients.
